Despite its status as the final chapter, Warner Bros. is developing a prequel exploring the Warrens’ early cases, with Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg writing and Rodrigue Huart in talks to direct. HBO Max will also host a linear marathon of the entire Conjuring Universe on November 22, and a new series set in the universe is in development with Nancy Won attached.
