The Army Corps will dredge 5,000 cubic yards from Ocean City Inlet Nov. 20–25 to ensure safe navigation.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will begin dredging at the Ocean City Inlet on Nov. 20, 2025, removing about 5,000 cubic yards of sediment from Priority Area One, including the Sinapuxent Channel entrance.
The MURDEN dredge will work through Nov. 25 to clear the West Ocean City Harbor entrance, following a July campaign that removed nearly 8,000 cubic yards.
If not completed by then, work will resume on Nov. 29.
The project supports safe navigation for commercial, recreational, and Coast Guard vessels, maintaining regional safety and economic stability.
