A 24-year-old man is sought in a Nov. 1 San Marcos shooting that killed a 19-year-old and wounded two others.

Patrick Dave Anderson, 24, is wanted in connection with a Nov. 1 shooting in downtown San Marcos that killed 19-year-old Ronnie Hernandez Jr. and injured two others near Kissing Alley. Authorities say the incident stemmed from a sidewalk altercation between two groups. Anderson, who moved from Arizona in October, remains at large, and the U.S. Marshals Service is assisting in the search. A second suspect has been identified and is cooperating. A separate Nov. 2 shooting at Outpost Apartments is not linked to the homicide. Residents are urged to report any information to San Marcos Police or Crime Stoppers.
