A wildlife docuseries about endangered animals' rehabilitation premieres December 19, 2025, on Apple TV+.
Apple TV has announced that “Born to be Wild,” a six-part wildlife documentary series narrated by Hugh Bonneville, will premiere worldwide on December 19, 2025.
The series, filmed across three continents over several years, follows six endangered young animals—including an elephant calf, cheetahs, a ring-tailed lemur pup, a moon bear cub, Iberian lynx kittens, and African penguins—as they grow under human care with the goal of eventual release into the wild.
It highlights their resilience, emotional bonds with conservationists, and the challenges of rehabilitation.
Produced by Tailfeather Productions and Offspring Films, the series is executive produced by Lucy van Beek, Alex Williamson, and Isla Robertson.
The show will be available on Apple TV+ with a $12.99 monthly subscription or a seven-day free trial.
