Wells Fargo donates $200,000 to Montana’s high school home-building program, supporting student training and affordable housing.
A $200,000 donation from Wells Fargo, announced by Montana Governor Greg Gianforte, will support the Great Falls High School House Program, which trains students in construction trades while building homes for low- and moderate-income families.
The program, active since 1997 and now in its 48th home build, involves students from Great Falls and C. M. Russell high schools.
The event featured TV host Mike Rowe, who praised the initiative for revitalizing skilled trades and giving youth real-world experience.
Gianforte declared November 13, 2025, as High School House Day in Montana, aligning with the state’s 406 JOBS Initiative to expand career pathways.
Funds will support materials and land acquisition for future homes.
