Volunteers in Port Lambton, Sombra, and Wilkesport collect food donations Nov. 13 for a holiday drive supporting 75+ hampers.

On Sunday, November 13, 2025, volunteers in Port Lambton, Sombra, and Wilkesport will collect non-perishable food donations door-to-door by 1 p.m. to support the Sacred Heart food bank’s holiday drive, with hampers to be distributed on December 13. Drop-offs are also available Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the food bank’s new location on Stoddard and Merritt Streets, a donated portable classroom. The food bank, serving 15 to 20 families regularly, aims to deliver over 75 hampers this year, reflecting growing community need and consistent local support.
