Three people injured in San Antonio crash; four others died in separate incidents.
Three people were injured in a San Antonio crash Thursday evening, including two DPS troopers struck by a 2013 Toyota Camry while responding with lights and sirens; the driver, a 32-year-old man, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Around the same time, a pedestrian was fatally struck on the Northeast Side near Austin Highway and Lanark Drive, with emergency crews finding the victim deceased at the scene.
A separate incident on the Northwest Side involved a motorcycle collision with an 18-wheeler on I-10, resulting in the motorcyclist’s death.
Another fatality occurred when a person was struck by a train near Interchange Parkway and Fratt Road.
All incidents are under investigation.
