Liberia opens applications for its 2025 National MSME Conference to boost local entrepreneurship.
Liberia’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has opened applications for the 2025 National MSME Conference, set for December 8–10 in Monrovia, aiming to boost local entrepreneurship through improved access to finance, markets, and policy reforms.
The event, themed on promoting Made-in-Liberia products, focuses on agribusiness, light manufacturing, and technology, with goals to expand participation beyond 400 MSMEs, enhance product standards, and support green production and inclusivity for women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
Top performers may receive cash awards up to $5,000, backed by partnerships with the World Bank, European Union, and private sector groups.
The conference marks a revival of a key economic initiative after an eight-year pause, aligning with the government’s ARREST Agenda for inclusive development.
