IIT Mandi conferred degrees on 604 students, including 71 PhDs, 245 postgraduates, and 288 B.Tech graduates, with over 25% being women, at its 13th convocation on November 13, 2025.
Riya Arora became the first female recipient of the President’s Gold Medal for her academic excellence in Computer Science and Engineering.
The event, led by Director Prof. Laxmidhar Behera, highlighted the institute’s progress in research, innovation, and regional development, including new academic programs and improved NIRF 2025 rankings.
Chief Guest Prof. Shekhar C. Mande urged graduates to use science responsibly, while guests of honour encouraged students to become job creators.
