Fiji's Caleb Muntz, playing in France, leads Fiji’s backline against France in Bordeaux.
Fiji fly-half Caleb Muntz, born in New Zealand and playing for French ProD2 club Provence, is set to lead Fiji’s dynamic backline against France in the Autumn Nations Series in Bordeaux.
Muntz, who has scored 33 points in three appearances for Provence, highlighted the creativity and speed of teammates including Josua Tuisova, Jiuta Wainiqolo, and Sireli Maqala, praising Maqala as electric despite being on the bench.
One of seven France-based players in Fiji’s squad, Muntz emphasized his role in facilitating his teammates’ talents and credited playing in Europe for adapting to a slower, more tactical style.
He acknowledged France’s fly-half Romain Ntamack as a world-class player, setting up a high-stakes clash between two skilled backlines.
