Ukraine’s Energy Minister resigned over corruption allegations tied to the "Mindich tapes," following loss of presidential confidence.
Ukraine’s Energy Minister Yuliya Hrinchuk resigned on November 12, 2025, following revelations from the "Mindich tapes" that she had been interviewed by a suspect in a corruption probe involving Energoatom.
President Zelensky stated she could no longer hold office due to a loss of confidence, alongside Justice Minister German Galushchenko, who was also implicated.
Hrinchuk, who served since July 17, 2025, cited gratitude for the opportunity to serve and denied any legal violations.
The resignations come amid broader scrutiny of corruption and influence within Ukraine’s government.
