Russia launches global IT competition for students, offering scholarships and trips to Moscow.
Russia has launched the third annual PROD Olympiad, the world’s first international IT competition in industrial software development, open to English-speaking students in grades 8–12 worldwide.
The online event, running from December to March, challenges participants to solve real business problems using logic and basic computer skills, with no advanced programming required.
Organized by Central University, T-Technologies Group, and HSE University’s Faculty of Computer Science, it features mentorship from experts behind Russia’s fintech sector.
The final team round will be held in Moscow, with travel and lodging covered.
Past participants have come from the UK, Germany, France, Canada, China, and Peru.
Winners may earn scholarships, internships, and free Russian language and cultural courses.
Registration closes December 2 on the official website.
