Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, released February 14, 2025, has earned platinum status in the U.S. within nine months, surpassing one million units sold.
The 21-track project, blending Toronto-influenced R&B and hip-hop, debuted at No.
1 on the Billboard 200 with 246,000 first-week units, marking PARTYNEXTDOOR’s first No.
1 album and Drake’s 14th.
Standout tracks include “NOKIA,” “DIE TRYING,” and “SOMEBODY LOVES ME,” which received a 2026 GRAMMY nomination.
Six songs earned gold certification, and “NOKIA” was certified 2x platinum.
The album’s success was supported by a UK/EU tour, physical releases on cassette, CD, and vinyl, and a short film premiere in October.
Drake has also begun hinting at his upcoming ninth solo album, Iceman, expected later in 2025.
