Democrats release 2011 emails alleging Trump knew of Epstein’s sex trafficking; Trump calls it a political hoax.
Democrats released newly uncovered emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, including a 2011 message in which Epstein told Ghislaine Maxwell that Donald Trump had spent hours at his home with a sex trafficking victim and claimed Trump “knew about the girls.” The victim was identified by Republicans as Virginia Giuffre, who died earlier in 2025 and previously stated under oath she did not believe Trump knew of Epstein’s crimes.
Trump and the White House dismissed the release as a politically motivated smear, calling it a “hoax” and a distraction from issues like the government shutdown.
The documents are part of 23,000 pages provided by Epstein’s estate, with additional pages later released by Republicans.
