Vesper Holdings has acquired The Den, a 522-bed student housing property in Columbia, Missouri, near the University of Missouri, in an off-market deal.
The 2014-built, four-story building offers two- and four-bedroom units with bed-to-bath parity and amenities including a resort-style pool, fitness center, and dog park.
The acquisition, made with an institutional investor, brings Vesper’s student housing transactions to over $1 billion in 16 months.
The property is now managed by CLS Living and adds to Vesper’s portfolio of 54 properties and over 25,000 beds, making it the eighth-largest student housing owner in the U.S.
The firm cited strong demand in top university markets as a key factor in the purchase.
