SUNY now offers active-duty military $250/credit tuition across all campuses starting spring 2025.
SUNY has launched a new $250-per-credit-hour tuition rate for active-duty military service members across all its campuses, effective spring 2025, funded by state resources.
The flat rate applies to all branches of the military, including the National Guard, and covers undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs.
The initiative, announced during a Veterans Day event, aims to improve access to higher education for service members and their families.
It complements expanded state programs like the Veterans Tuition Awards, which now fully cover SUNY undergraduate and vocational tuition for veterans with four or more years of active duty, regardless of deployment.
Additional support includes scholarships for dependents of disabled or deceased veterans and assistance with GI Bill benefits.
