Jaguars' Heisman-winning rookie Travis Hunter has season-ending surgery for a right knee LCL tear.
Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter underwent successful season-ending surgery on November 11, 2025, to repair a lateral collateral ligament (LCL) tear in his right knee, sustained during practice on October 30.
The procedure, performed by team physicians in Dallas, revealed no additional knee damage.
Hunter, a first-round 2025 NFL Draft pick and Heisman Trophy winner, was placed on injured reserve on October 31 and is expected to return in about six months.
He had eight receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown in his last game before the injury.
