Following a deadly car blast in New Delhi that killed at least eight people, Indore police filed FIRs against 13 hotel and hostel operators for failing to submit guest information, as mandated by a preventive order under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Suraksha Sanhita.
The move, part of a citywide inspection, was prompted by the terror attack, which the NIA has taken over for investigation under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
