A shark bit a surfer's board at Prevelly Beach, Australia, but the rider escaped unharmed.

A white shark bite on a foil board rider’s equipment occurred at Prevelly Beach, Western Australia, around 5:45 pm on Monday, prompting a shark warning from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. The rider, Andy McDonald, was not injured but narrowly escaped after the shark bit his board and wrapped around him, causing it to break apart. Fellow riders assisted him to shore. The incident, captured on camera, took place near the Boat Ramp and Bombie Surfing Spots, with officials monitoring the area and advising caution for all water users.
