Legendary Australian polo player Sinclair Hill, who achieved the sport’s highest 10-goal handicap and was one of only two Australians to do so, has died at 92 in a cattle mustering accident at his NSW property.
A founding inductee into the Australian Polo Hall of Fame, Hill represented Australia and the Commonwealth internationally over nearly 70 years, coached Prince Charles, and maintained close ties with the royal family, including being a guest at Charles and Diana’s 1981 wedding and meeting King Charles and Queen Camilla during their 2024 visit to Australia.
