Hundreds ran in Spokane to support veterans' meal deliveries, part of a weekend of events honoring veterans.

Hundreds joined the "Race to Feed Our Veterans" 5K in Spokane on Sunday, Nov. 10, at Fairmont Memorial Park, supporting Meals on Wheels Spokane’s meal delivery for veterans. The event, organized by Meals on Wheels and the Fairmont Memorial Association, included runners, walkers, and pets, with post-race food and drinks. Community Days honoring veterans were held at City Hall on Monday, followed by the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at Numerica Veterans Arena on Tuesday, featuring speakers, music, and refreshments. Free parking was available for the ceremony.
