Bar Leone, named the world’s best bar in 2025, has opened its first mainland China location in Shanghai, expanding from Hong Kong. Co-founders Lorenzo Antinori and Justin Shun Wah launched the venue on Sunday, offering classic and original cocktails, seasonal spritzers, and a mix of familiar and new food items. Known for its relaxed, accessible style, the bar previously won top honors in Asia’s 50 Best Bars and received international awards, including Best International Cocktail Bar and International Bartender of the Year. The opening marks a key step in Bar Leone’s global growth while maintaining its focus on hospitality and craftsmanship.
