Seven top Indian firms lost $11.4 billion in value as markets dipped on Friday, Nov. 9, 2025.
In a shortened trading week ending November 9, 2025, seven of India’s top-10 most valuable companies lost ₹88,635.28 crore in combined market value amid a broader market decline, with the BSE Sensex and Nifty falling 0.86% and 0.89% respectively.
Bharti Airtel and Tata Consultancy Services led losses, shedding ₹30.5 billion and ₹23.7 billion in market cap, while Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, and Hindustan Unilever also declined.
In contrast, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance, and Life Insurance Corporation gained, with LIC rising ₹18.5 billion.
Reliance Industries remained the most valuable company.
