On Remembrance Sunday, 3,000 motorcyclists formed a red ring around Manchester’s M60 to honor UK service members.
On Remembrance Sunday, November 9, 2025, about 3,000 motorcyclists took part in the 13th annual M60 “ring of red” tribute in Greater Manchester, honoring UK armed forces members.
Starting at Birch Services on the M62 near Heywood, riders formed a continuous red circle around the M60 in a symbol of unity and remembrance.
The event, organized by an East Lancashire-based ex-services charity, included a teddy bear adorned with flags and poppies that completed a lap.
Staggered departures minimized traffic disruption, and the ride was free and open to all.
Additional remembrance activities occurred in Bury, Prestwich, Bolton, and other communities across the region.
