India's Fit India Sundays on Cycle drew over 50,000 people nationwide on November 9, 2025, promoting fitness, sustainability, and resilience.
On November 9, 2025, India marked the 47th Fit India Sundays on Cycle, a nationwide event uniting over 50,000 people weekly across 6,000 locations, with more than 14.5 million citizens engaged since December 2024.
Organized by the Sports Authority of India and partners, the event featured rides from Kargil to Kolkata, including participation by survivors of cancer, paralysis, and natural disasters, as well as over 300 specially-abled children.
Prominent figures like Leander Paes and Usha Uthup joined the Kolkata Cyclothon, highlighting health, sustainability, and resilience.
The campaign, aligned with Prime Minister Modi’s Fit India Movement and Mission LiFE, promotes 30 minutes of daily fitness and environmental awareness through over 3,500 NaMo Fit India Cycling Clubs.
