Chattanooga women’s basketball fell to Lipscomb 75-68 in Nashville, snapping a two-game winning streak. The Mocs, led by Caia Elisaldez’s 14.5 points per game, struggled from three, shooting 30.8%, while Lipscomb, averaging 75.5 points, shot 41.7% from the field. Lee University’s women’s team defeated Maryville 65-35 in an exhibition, with Keira Leffew grabbing 16 rebounds and Anna Muhonen scoring 13. The men’s team also won an exhibition, 76-74, over Dalton State, with Willie Walton hitting a game-winning three. Both Lee teams open their regular seasons next week.
