Punjab commission orders opposition leader to explain using Sikh religious images at rally.
The Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes has issued a notice to Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa over allegations of using images of Sikh religious figures, including Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and Bhai Jeevan Singh Ji, during a political rally in Tarn Taran.
The Commission, acting suo motu, directed Bajwa to appear in Chandigarh on November 10, 2025, to explain the alleged misuse, citing concerns over religious sensitivity and potential violations of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission Act.
