Piramal Finance debuted on India’s National Stock Exchange on November 7, 2025, opening at ₹1,260, a 12% premium, following its merger with Piramal Enterprises.
The deal, approved by the NCLT in September, saw Piramal Enterprises shareholders receive one share of Piramal Finance per share held, effective September 23, after which Piramal Enterprises trading ended.
All of Piramal Enterprises’ debt was transferred to the new entity, while Piramal Finance’s debt continued trading unchanged.
The merger created a unified financial services platform under the Piramal brand, aiming to streamline operations and strengthen its market position.
The event drew high-profile attendees, including members of the Ambani family.
