New York City will close parts of Manhattan’s Broadway, 5th Avenue, and Midtown streets on Tuesday, November 11, for the Veterans Day Parade honoring the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and Navy.
The parade, featuring over 20,000 service members and three Grand Marshals, runs from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. along 5th Avenue from 26th to 48th Streets.
A memorial service for Flight 587 will close Beach 116th Street in Queens on Wednesday, November 12.
Federal, state, and city offices, schools, and the Post Office will be closed, with transit operating on regular schedules.
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes.
