On November 7, 2025, the State College of Teachers Education, Kohima, marked its 50th anniversary with a celebration highlighting its role in teacher education and educational advancement in Nagaland. The event, themed “Empowering Teachers, Enriching Lives,” featured speeches from education leaders emphasizing the importance of adapting to technology, continuous learning, and aligning with the National Education Policy 2020. Officials and alumni honored the institution’s legacy in shaping educators and promoting holistic education across the state. A Golden Jubilee Monolith was unveiled, and commemorative materials were released to mark the milestone.
