A major fire at a Baltimore warehouse killed no one but forced evacuations and caused roof collapse.
A four-alarm fire broke out at a commercial building at 2230 and 2235 Hamden Ave in Baltimore’s Remington neighborhood around 1:30 p.m. on November 7, 2025, spreading rapidly due to wind and producing heavy smoke.
The structure, housing a woodworking business and a toy distribution operation, saw parts of the roof collapse.
Residents in the 400 block of W. 23rd Street were evacuated, with 23 taken to a nearby church.
No injuries were reported among civilians or firefighters.
Emergency crews, including HazMat units, worked to contain the blaze and prevent further spread, with the Maryland State Fire Marshal investigating the cause.
