On November 7, 2025, India’s Swadeshi Rashtriya Gaudhan Summit honored cow protectors on the 19th anniversary of the Rashtriya Gaudhan Mahasangh’s founding, declaring November 7 as “Gau Seva Sankalp Diwas” to advance cow welfare and environmental awareness.
Held in New Delhi, the event highlighted the ecological and economic value of cows, emphasizing that India’s annual cow dung output could save 50 million trees yearly if used scientifically.
The summit promoted green innovations like biogas, organic fertilizers, and Panchgavya medicines, with over 600 stalls showcasing eco-friendly technologies.
The movement has expanded Gaushalas to over 22,000 and increased the cow population to 220 million, supporting organic farming and sustainable development.
The five-day event continues through November 10.
