A fire at a perfume warehouse in Dilovasi, Kocaeli province, northwestern Turkey, killed six people and injured one on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The blaze, which broke out around 9 a.m. local time, was preceded by explosions and destroyed two floors of the two-story facility. Emergency crews brought the fire under control within an hour. The cause remains unknown and is under investigation. Governor Ilhami Aktas confirmed the fatalities and said the injured person was hospitalized. The location is in an industrial area near Istanbul.
