Terrain Minerals Ltd reported promising rare earth element intercepts at its Lort River project in Western Australia, finding a shallow clay zone in a regolith basin potentially linked to an intrusive unit, with further drilling planned. Despite the discovery, the project remains secondary to the company’s primary focus on the Smokebush gold and silver project, where 60 drill holes at the Lightning prospect returned high-grade results, with 15 silver assays pending. The company has secured funding through a capital raise and continues exploration at Wildflower and other sites, including lithium targeting in the Pilbara.
