Sigma Planning boosted its UDEC ETF stake by $1.6M in Q2 2025, while others bought related Innovator ETFs.
In the second quarter of 2025, Sigma Planning Corp significantly increased its stake in the Innovator U.S. Equity Ultra Buffer ETF (UDEC), buying 44,082 shares for about $1.6 million, raising its ownership to 0.39% of the fund.
The ETF, launched in December 2019, aims to provide buffered losses and capped gains on the S&P 500 Price Return index using options and collateral.
The firm also sold shares of the First Trust Limited Duration Investment Grade Corporate ETF and bought into the Schwab International Equity ETF and Ventas, Inc. Other institutional investors, including HORAN Wealth LLC and Stone House Investment Management LLC, also acquired stakes in related Innovator ETFs during the quarter, with varying performance across the funds.
