Authorities launched a manhunt, filing an FIR and reviewing CCTV footage to investigate the security breach. The incident has raised concerns about airport protocols. Around the same time, a technical failure in the airport’s Air Traffic Control system caused delays for at least 100 flights on November 7, affecting major carriers including Air India, IndiGo, and SpiceJet.
