Air Astana has ordered up to 15 new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, its largest fleet expansion to date, with five firm orders, five options, and five purchase rights.
The aircraft, expected delivery between 2032 and 2035, will boost long-haul capabilities and support international growth across Asia, Europe, and beyond.
The total value of the 18 aircraft, including engines, is $7 billion at list prices.
The order follows board approval and is pending final steps.
The airline, which operates 62 aircraft under Air Astana and FlyArystan, continues modernizing its fleet with fuel-efficient, passenger-friendly 787-9s.
