A Maryland man was convicted of attempted murder and gun charges after a violent chase left three men injured.
Cameron David Curtis, 22, of Drayden, Maryland, was convicted of four counts of attempted murder and multiple firearms charges following a six-day trial in St. Mary’s County.
The May 3, 2025, incident began as a violent altercation in Leonardtown and escalated into a vehicle chase into Lexington Park, leaving three men injured by gunfire.
Prosecutors said Curtis used multiple firearms during the attack, posing a serious threat to victims and the public.
He was also found guilty of carrying a handgun in a vehicle and using a firearm during a violent crime.
Curtis, who remains in custody without bond, faces a maximum sentence of life plus life plus 145 years.
The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Alena Moiser, with Detective Warren Forinash leading the investigation, and presided over by Judge Amy Lorenzini.
