After more than two years, the family of 14-year-old Bryson Dimovski gained accountability when Jaycob Gemza pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing death in the July 28, 2023, hit-and-run in Warners Bay, Australia.
Bryson was struck by a Ford Falcon while riding his electric scooter and died from injuries.
Gemza admitted to causing the crash and failing to stop or report it, claiming panic after briefly returning to the scene with a torch.
He will begin serving a jail sentence in 2026.
