Great Southern Mining found a 4.5-km-long, high-grade gold zone at its Duketon project in Western Australia.
Great Southern Mining’s aircore drilling at its Duketon gold project in Western Australia has uncovered a 4.5-kilometre-long zone of shallow, high-grade gold mineralisation at the Amy Clarke prospect, with a 2-meter intersection grading 23.9 grams per tonne gold.
The results, from 8,000 meters of drilling across a 6-kilometre area, indicate a broad, continuous gold system consistent with surface anomalies and known geological structures.
The project, only second explored in depth since the 1990s, lies near established infrastructure from Regis Resources, enhancing its development potential.
A follow-up reverse-circulation drill program is planned for early 2026.
The company is also advancing exploration at its Golden Boulder prospect and a copper-gold target in Queensland with Gold Fields.
