Air India launches new pilot contracts with fixed schedules and flexible leave starting Jan/Mar 2025.

Air India has launched a new 12-month Flexi Contract for pilots on A320, B777, and A350 fleets, offering fixed duty cycles—15 days on and off for wide-body, 20 on and 10 off for narrow-body—starting in January and March 2025. Pilots gain increased leave and scheduling flexibility, with bid-based leave and seniority-driven enrollment. Pay, allowances, and benefits remain protected, and the contract may be extended or reverted by the airline without pay changes. Pilots cannot work outside Air India during off-days.
