AI chipmaker DEEPX wins global recognition for efficient, low-power AI chips used by major companies.
AI chipmaker DEEPX, led by CEO Lokwon Kim, has been honored as a 'Sustainable and Responsible AI Innovation Company' at the World Economic Forum’s MINDS Awards and selected to participate in the New York Stock Exchange’s International Day, joining 230 global tech leaders.
The company develops on-device AI semiconductors that run large models at ultra-low power (2–5 watts), offering up to 20 times better efficiency and 90% lower system costs than GPUs.
Its first-generation DX-M1 chip entered mass production in July 2025 and is already being deployed by Hyundai, Baidu, LGUplus, and POSCO DX.
