Vanderbilt to open NYC campus in 2026 for undergrads and tech-focused grad students.
Vanderbilt University will open its first campus outside Nashville in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood in fall 2026, after the New York Board of Regents unanimously approved its application.
The campus will launch with a semester program for undergraduate juniors and seniors, offering internships and project-based learning, along with a new Master of Science in Business and Technology.
Located on a 99-year lease at the former General Theological Seminary site, the campus will host about 100 undergraduates per semester and serve as a hub for experiential education and industry collaboration in New York’s tech and cultural sectors.
