A traffic stop in Simcoe on November 3 led to the arrest of two 32-year-old men after officers found a crossbow, firearm, and cannabis in their vehicle, prompting multiple charges including unauthorized firearm possession, cannabis distribution, and probation violations.
Both were held for a bail hearing on November 4.
Separately, a 32-year-old man was arrested for stealing a U-Haul truck that had struck a police cruiser the previous day, facing theft and possession of stolen property charges.
Police are also seeking a 49-year-old man, Jason Kane, on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his statutory release after a prior firearm conviction.
Additionally, a 79-year-old man faces charges of dangerous driving and uttering threats following an erratic vehicle incident on October 31.
