Three Queen’s students will run 12 hours to raise money for cancer research, aiming to exceed $30,000.
Three Queen’s University students—Aiden Milne, Nic Roussel, and Noel Keuken—will run laps at Tindal Field from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on November 8, 2025, in a 12-hour challenge to raise funds for cancer research.
The event, part of the student-run Cure Cancer Classic, aims to exceed $30,000—surpassing its initial $10,000 goal—despite physical challenges like shin splints and past injuries.
They are running at about six and a half minutes per kilometer, taking short breaks every 10 km, and are prepared for rain.
The initiative has raised over $2 million since 2005.
