Romanian tech firm AROBS, the largest company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, has acquired a 65% majority stake in Gess Engineering, a Sibiu-based engineering firm specializing in vehicle testing and validation.
The deal, which follows AROBS’s recent expansion through acquisitions and a capital increase, strengthens its position in mobility and autonomous vehicle technologies.
Gess Engineering, which generated 22 million Romanian lei in revenue in 2024, will operate under AROBS’ strategic oversight with its management team remaining in place.
The acquisition reflects growing consolidation and investor confidence in Romania’s tech and engineering sectors.
