Iowa voters in Scott and Muscatine counties participated in local elections on October 7, 2025, with Jason Gordon and Judith Lee advancing to the November 4 general election for Davenport mayor. Gordon, a former alderman and redevelopment board chair, defeated Lee, a former alderwoman, in the primary, then won the general election with 6,524 votes to Lee’s 5,771. Incumbents Kyle Gripp and Jazmin Newton are seeking reelection to Davenport’s at-large city council seats, while new candidates are running for other council and school board positions across the region. In Bettendorf, incumbent Scott Naumann faces vascular surgeon Afzal Erik Abdullah in the 4th Ward race. Results are still being updated, with some races spanning county lines. Mayor Mike Matson, who served three terms, did not run for re-election.
