India and Israel signed a defence cooperation MoU in Tel Aviv on November 4, 2025, during the 17th Joint Working Group meeting, co-chaired by India’s Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Israel’s Maj Gen (Res) Amir Baram.
The agreement aims to deepen strategic ties through enhanced technology sharing, co-development, and co-production of defence systems, focusing on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, research and development, training, and industrial collaboration.
Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to combating terrorism and addressing shared security challenges, citing mutual trust and converging interests.
The move follows a Bilateral Investment Agreement signed in September and coincides with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar’s visit to India.
