Himachal Pradesh won India’s People First Integration Award for digitizing 51 services on DigiLocker, easing access to official documents.

Himachal Pradesh has won India’s national "People First Integration Award" for integrating 51 eDistrict services, along with HimParivar and HimAccess Card services, onto the DigiLocker platform. The award, presented at the DigiLocker 2025 conference in New Delhi on November 4, recognizes the state’s efforts to streamline access to 53 types of official documents, including domicile and income certificates, through a secure, paperless system. Led by the Department of Digital Technologies and Governance, the initiative supports transparent, efficient public services under Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, reducing paperwork and improving citizen access to verified records anytime, anywhere.
