flag A Belfast court hears new leads in the 2020 case of 14-year-old Noah Donohoe, found dead in a storm drain, as the inquest nears.

A public appeal with CCTV footage of 14-year-old Noah Donohoe, who vanished in June 2020 and was found dead in a Belfast storm drain, has generated some public responses, the Belfast court has heard. The long-delayed inquest is now set to begin January 19, with preparations ongoing, including efforts to obtain a statement from former PSNI officer Muir Clark, who led the initial search and now heads the Royal Anguilla Police Force. The footage, showing Noah leaving home barefoot and without his headphones, has prompted new leads. Materials from investigative journalist Donal MacIntyre, whose inquiry is publicly funded, are also being gathered. A further review hearing is scheduled for November 25.
